I got the uac prompt everytime, clicked yes and then Windows repeatedly spit up a error message. Windows kept spitting up some error message, not the uac prompt.

I followed that same incinerate old download, redownload file again and try install again. I incinerated that file and re-downloaded that same version directly from Piriform again. That was the first time ever I couldn't use CCleaner's setup***.exe file ever in years.

and it repeatedly failed.Īfter every clean Windows install, I'm in the hababit of re-taking ownership of all documents, downloads, music, pictures and videos. I then install Unchecky and move onto games and software installs with restarts after each. The new UEFI version was in place prior to the UEFI and new fixed CCleaner download.Īfter the clean install, Windows Updates, driver installs, with numerous restarts after each. Then the next time I did a clean install of Windows 10 Asus had released the first UEFI Update for Meltdown/Skylake for my motherboard. Then I move each one into their own folder inside the downloads folder. I always save all my downloads and when a new version is released I incinerate the old versions setup file just before I click to save the new file. It was either soon after when CCleaner had had that one buggy version that had malware inside it and then on the very next version they released that was fine. Here No I noticed this after I did a clean install of Windows 10 in either Jsnusry or February.
